Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Sorita is operated by LOLA DESARROLLO DE SOFTWARE Y COMUNICACIONES S.A.C. (RUC 20614786575), trading as Lima Research, based in Lima, Peru ("Sorita", "we", "us"). By claiming a founder spot, creating an account or using Sorita, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. The service

Sorita provides a public feedback page for your product, an optional browser SDK that captures product signals such as JavaScript errors and failed requests, and an AI agent that organizes feedback and signals into prioritized issues and a roadmap.

3. Early access

Sorita is sold as early access: you may pay before your workspace is available, and features will arrive and change over time. We will tell you by email when your workspace is ready. Until then, the refund terms in section 6 apply, so joining early carries no financial risk for you.

4. Accounts

You must give accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity in your account and for the products you connect to Sorita. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.

5. Founder plan and billing

• The Founder plan costs $10 USD per month and is limited to the first 100 customers.
• Your price stays at $10/month for as long as your subscription stays active without interruption. If you cancel and later resubscribe, the price in effect at that time applies.
• Subscriptions renew automatically every month until you cancel.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as our Merchant of Record and handles taxes, invoicing and payment processing. Your receipt comes from Dodo Payments.
• If we change the price of other plans, it never affects your founder price. For anything else that affects billing, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email, and changes only apply if you decide to continue.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use Sorita to break the law, send spam, collect personal data without a lawful basis, upload malicious code, attack or overload our systems, or try to reverse engineer or resell the service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

8. Your data and your users' data

You own the content your users submit and the signals your product sends to Sorita. You give us a limited license to process it only to provide and improve the service for you. You are responsible for telling your users that their feedback and product signals are processed by Sorita, and for having a lawful basis to do so. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. AI output

Classifications, priorities, impact estimates and roadmap suggestions are generated automatically and can be wrong. They are decision support, not decisions: you remain responsible for the product choices you make with them.

10. Intellectual property

Sorita, its software, brand and content belong to Lima Research. We give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your subscription is active. Feedback you give us about Sorita can be used to improve it, with no obligation to you.

11. Availability

During early access we provide the service "as is", without uptime guarantees. We work to keep Sorita available and your data safe, and we will communicate planned downtime in advance when we can.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits, revenue or data. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

13. Ending the service

You can close your account at any time. If we ever decide to shut Sorita down, we will give you at least 30 days' notice, let you export your data, and refund any period you paid for but couldn't use.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using Sorita after that date, the new Terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel before then.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Peru. Any dispute will be resolved by the courts of Lima, Peru.
